Keith was born and raised in Acadiana. Attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now ULL) and achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. With a strong background in graphic arts and a robust knowledge of technology through many years of experience he opened Direct IT in 2003. The goal was to provide Acadiana’s small to medium size businesses with corporate level IT management at a fraction of the cost of hiring IT personnel. Since then Direct IT has been a part of the business community and has aided many businesses in achieving a higher level of technology and a more productive workforce.

Originally hired by EIU to revamp the entire network infrastructure and computer standards. After this project was complete my duties expanded into the Human Resource Department due to low technical support related issues. My duties then expanded to include acquiring and editing the Industrial Safety Plan, Jobsite Scheduler/Planning, application development, hiring procedures and drug test tracking. EIU was acquired by TIMEC Companies in early 2000. I was promoted by TIMEC to Corporate IT Director within the first year of the acquisition.Was responsible for a nation-wide network connecting multiple offices, web site design and creation, application development and acquisitions, Microsoft Exchange & Windows 2000 Servers, VPN connectivity, IT personnel, Help Desk and Hands-on trouble-shooting of equipment in the Gulf Coast Area. |
